Cisco Academy is an example of mutually beneficial cooperation between the IT industry and educational institutions. Thanks to the Cisco Networking Academy, hundreds of thousands of students around the world acquire the knowledge and skills necessary for the design, installation, debugging and technical support of local and global networks. Training contributes to improving career prospects and meeting the global demand for specialists in the field of network organization. The program was launched in 1997 to teach American colleges how to handle the equipment. Thus, they began to develop training programs for the formation of professional education. The program developed rapidly and later opened in Ukraine as well. Currently, the Cisco program covers 180 countries. The teachers of the Department of Computer Engineering and Cyber Security of the Lutsk National Technical University underwent advanced training on the basis of the Cisco Networking Academy of the Ternopil Ivan Puluj National Technical University and are already its instructors, so students can receive the certificates of this academy, which will provide significant advantages in employment.
